CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We are committed to helping our members in the office sector to be part of the wider local community and give something back. Here are details of a couple of current corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities:
The Prince’s Trust Volunteering
The Prince’s Trust runs the Mosaic Secondary School Group Mentoring Programme, an initiative aimed at bridging the aspirations-attainment gap amongst secondary school students and they are looking for more mentors. If you are interested and would like more information about the programme and what being a mentor entails, please contact Chloe.Hornblow@princes-trust.org.uk
RADFORD CARE GROUP
This local group, set up in 1968 provides a range of support to the older generation of Nottingham to reduce isolation. The group is trying to raise money for a new building to offer more services to more elderly people in Nottingham including those who have complex health conditions.
To that end they are organising a Vintage Big Band Bash on Sunday 26 January 2020 with live music, afternoon tea, raffle, tombola and quiz. They are looking for donations of raffle and tombola prizes and items for the afternoon tea. So far they have received offers of support from Waitrose, The Beauty Temple, The Pudding Pantry, the National Justice Museum and Nottingham Cricket Club. All those who provide support will be mentioned on social media.
