Nottingham’s Award-Winning Week of Beer Events is Back This June

Nottingham Craft Beer Week is back from Saturday 11 - Saturday 18 June 2022, with a range of industry-leading events across the city and county.

The annual week of events, which in March 2020 was awarded the title of the ‘UK’s Best Craft Beer Promotion’ by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA), is back this year with a week-long programme of food and drink events that will appeal to beer-lovers of all ages.

This year’s events include: 

  • Talks from renowned beer and food authors and journalists Matthew Curtis (Pellicle), Melissa Cole (The Guardian) and Adrian Tierney-Jones (The Telegraph)
  • A collectors trail of free postcard art across 34 pubs by local artist The Art of Beer
  • The Battle of the Breweries card game tournament: Nottingham plays host to the annual championship of this international beer-based card game
  • Hop Idol: A contest to celebrate the Nottingham’s best home-brewers
  • Smash The Pint-riarchy: A panel discussion for and about women in the industry
  • Food and beer pairing events
  • Three sessions of great beer, food, live music and more at Nottingham Craft Beer Festival

The event is sponsored by It’s in Nottingham, the consumer facing brand of Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID).

Nottingham Craft Beer Festival will once again provide the grand finale to the week of events on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 June 2022. Taking place at Sneinton Avenues over three sessions (Friday night, Saturday day and Saturday night). The festival is a showcase of the best local and international breweries and will this year include stalls from Northern Monk (Leeds), Wylam (Newcasle), Pomona Island (Salford), Vault City (Edinburgh), Black Iris, Neon Raptor, Castle Rock (all Nottingham), an American craft beer bar and many more. Food will be provided by Nottingham Street Food Club and friends.
