Have you seen the amazing changes happening on Sussex Street lately? It's been getting some major love with lots of investments and renovation projects.

Have you checked out the new modular 'parklet' too? It's so cool! We were honoured to be a part of bringing it to life and we're thrilled to see how much it's brightened up the area.

What is a Parklet?

Our parklet is a modular seating and growing space – it makes it super easy to sit and relax while surrounded by lush plant beds filled with delicious, diverse plants. And the best part? These plants are used in the nearby Fletcher's Restaurant, which means we're doing our part to minimise our foodprint and reduce our environmental impact. How cool is that?

We hope to expand the Parklet concept to suit different spaces around the city. With a modular concept at the heart of the design, it allows the green spaces to adapt and fit into practically any space.

The campaign supports Nottingham City Council's high-level objectives to achieve a resilient and sustainable carbon-neutral Nottingham by 2028 and be the first carbon-neutral city in the UK.

How to find it...

Head to Nottingham Contemporary – from the train station, or Hockley – and you'll find our parklet at the bottom of the Contemporary steps.

Nearest postcode – Nottingham Contemporary, Weekday Cross, Nottingham NG1 2GB
