Carbon Literacy Training: Sustainability Basics for Business is Back!

In partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU), Nottingham BID invite members to the Carbon Literacy Training: Sustainability Basics for Business.

The course has been created by an NTU Professor Dr Petra Molthan-Hill, PhD, MBA, MDiv, PFHEA and tailored for BID businesses. It covers climate change mitigation and adaptation and how individuals and organisations could contribute to climate solutions.

At the end of the course, you will be able to set out an action plan to reduce your organisation's emissions and influence others to take action against climate change.

Learn the best high-impact climate solutions to be embedded in your line of work, whether it is in corporate strategy, operations, accounting, supply chain or marketing to name just a few. As well as discovering ways to reduce carbon emissions, see financial benefits by reducing your company’s bills.

The course enables individuals to become ‘Green Champions’ within their organisation. It is split over two sessions and held at Nottingham Trent University’s Newton Building in class sizes of 25.

At the end of the training, you will be encouraged and supported to complete your Assessment Form and claim your Carbon Literacy Project certificate however, this is not mandatory to finish the course.

Nottingham Trent University (Newton Building), 30 Burton Street, NG1 4BU.
