To support our members and other city centre businesses during this difficult time we are currently offering free HR, employment law, training and guidance as well as providing free Employee Assistance Programmes to the leisure, retail and hospitality sectors.
HR, Employment Law, Training and Guidance
HR and employment law brings with it a number of sensitive issues and consideration, particularly in the current climate with COVID-19. The 2.5 hour session, which is being offered free to businesses within the BID zone, will cover a range of currently relevant topics and will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Key areas will include changes to the furlough scheme, varying contracts (flexible hours, furloughing), homeworking, managing redundancies and managing absence. The session will be led by Richard Stace, a solicitor and an experienced employment law specialist.
If you are interested in attending a future Zoom session with Richard please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)
You may have heard of Employee Assistance Programme which offer employees in the leisure, retail and hospitality sectors comprehensive care packages, services and benefits. During the coronavirus outbreak we have been offering members the schemes for free, to enable them to support their employees during this period of uncertainty.,
A number of businesses have already signed up to receive the schemes, free of charge, and we still have availability if any other members would like to take advantage of the opportunity. To find out more or to sign up, email email@example.com
As well as access to free HR and employment law advise we are also offering independent businesses within the BID area the opportunity to be included on our handy digital map which has been created to highlight to the public which businesses are open and what services are available. These will continue to be updated and promoted through our consumer facing brand, It's in Nottingham.
If you would like us to add your business to the map then please email here
